Abstract | An objective of the present invention is to prevent oil from sticking to a reliquefaction line while ensuring the sealing property of a compression device. To this end, a compression device (10) comprises: a reciprocating and non-lubricating front compression unit (21) for suctioning and compressing boil-off gas; a rear compression unit (23) for compressing the boil-off gas compressed by the front compression unit (21); and a reliquefaction line (29) for re-liquefying at least a portion of the boil-off gas compressed by the rear compression unit (23). The rear compression unit (23) has reciprocating multi-stage compression mechanisms (23a to 23d). The multi-stage compression mechanisms (23a to 23d) include a rod lubricating compression mechanism (31) which has a piston, a piston rod provided with the piston at the leading end, and a rod packing adjacent to the piston rod which is lubricated between the piston rod and the rod packing.
