Abstract | The present invention is to provide an electrode used in an electrochemical process of producing carbon monoxide from carbon dioxide, a method for manufacturing the same, and a method for electrochemically producing carbon monoxide from carbon dioxide using the same. To this end, the electrode comprises: a nanostructure layer formed inwardly from a surface of an electrode, and including a metal oxide; and a conductive support layer being in contact with one surface of the nanostructure layer. When carbon monoxide is electrochemically produced from carbon dioxide using the electrode of the present invention, the selectivity of carbon monoxide is greatly increased, and high current efficiency and low overvoltage can be obtained, in relation to hydrogen produced by a competition reaction, thereby producing high-purity carbon monoxide.
본 발명의 목적은 이산화탄소로부터 일산화탄소를 제조하는 전기화학 공정에 사용되는 전극 및 이의 제조방법, 및 이를 이용하여 전기화학적으로 이산화탄소로부터 일산화탄소를 제조하는 방법을 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 전극의 표면으로부터 내측으로 형성되고, 금속 산화물을 포함하는 나노구조층; 및 상기 나노구조층과 일 면에서 접하는 전도성 지지층;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이산화탄소로부터 일산화탄소를 제조하는 전기화학 공정에 사용되는 전극을 제공하고, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 이용한 일산화탄소의 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 전극을 사용하여 전기화학적으로 이산화탄소로부터 일산화탄소를 제조하는 경우, 경쟁반응으로 제조되는 수소와의 관계에서, 일산화탄소의 선택도가 크게 증가하고, 높은 전류효율 및 낮은 과전압을 얻을 수 있어, 고순도의 일산화탄소를 제조할 수 있는 장점이 있다. |
