The present invention relates to a light emitting element and a display device comprising the same. The light emitting element comprises: a first electrode and a second electrode facing each other; a light emitting layer positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode and including a quantum dot; and an electron auxiliary layer positioned between the light emitting layer and the second electrode and including a plurality of nanoparticles. The nanoparticles comprise a metal oxide containing zinc, and the second electrode has a first surface facing the surface of the electron auxiliary layer and a second surface facing the first surface and includes a polymer layer disposed on at least a portion of the second surface and at least a portion of the surface of the electron auxiliary layer, wherein the polymer layer comprises a polymerization product of a monomer combination comprising a thiol compound having one or more thiol groups and an unsaturated compound having two or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds.
