Abstract The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a cellulose ester film. The cellulose ester film is a phase difference multilayer film manufactured by a first layer based on a first resin substituted with naphthoic acid and propionic acid in one or more of three substituents of cellulose ester, and a second layer based on a second resin substituted with a material having 5 to 15 carbon atoms in one or more of three substituents of the cellulose ester. The cellulose ester phase difference multilayer film has effects of improving uniformity of phase difference and suppressing deterioration of brittle properties of the film. 본 발명은 셀룰로오스 에스테르 필름의 제조방법으로서 셀룰로오스 에스테르의 세 개의 치환기 중 하나 이상이 나프토익산 또는 프로피온산으로 치환된 제1 수지로 구성된 제1층과, 셀룰로오스 에스테르의 세 개의 치환기 중 하나 이상에 탄소수 5 내지 15인 물질이 치환된 제2수지로 구성된 제2층으로 제조한 다층 위상차 필름이다. 본 발명의 셀룰로오스 에스테르 다층 위상차 필름은 위상차 균일도가 향상되고, 필름의 Brittle성의 저하가 억제되는 효과가 있다.
