Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and a device for measuring biometric information of a user by an electronic device and providing information related to the biometric information. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises a sensor module, a display device, and a processor. The processor obtains biometric information of a user and position information related to the user based on the sensor module, matches the biometric information and the position information, displays an interface including the biometric information during a certain period through the display device, determines a position of a region selected by the user in the interface and a section corresponding to the position, and specifies the section in the interface to highlight and display the biometric information in the section.
