| Abstract | The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for improving skin elasticity and reducing wrinkles containing Euterpe oleracea, Citrus × aurantiifolia, rosehips, and Hibiscus syriacusas flower extract as active ingredients. The composition of the present invention inhibits the expression of MMP-1 protein in human dermal fibroblasts and increases the expression of procollagen type 1 protein to prevent skin wrinkles and exhibit the effect of reducing the wrinkles of damaged skin, thereby greatly and rapidly preventing wrinkles and improving skin elasticity. In addition, the composition of the present invention using a natural plant extract as a raw material is not only very safe for the human body, but also excellent in stability.
