Abstract The present invention relates to a thermal system (1, 1a, 1b, 1c) for controlling inflow air for a passenger compartment of a vehicle and for cooling driving elements of a vehicle power train and, particularly, to a thermal management system. The system (1, 1a, 1b, 1c) is provided with a coolant circulation system (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) including: a compressor (3); a first coolant-air heat exchanger (4) formed to be able to be operated as a condenser/gas cooler and an evaporator and exchanging heat with surrounding air; a second coolant-air heat exchanger which is operated as a first evaporator and in front of which a first expansion engine (13) is supported; and a heat exchanger (12) which is operated as a second evaporator and in front of which a second expansion engine (13) is supported. The coolant circulation system (2, 2a, 2b, 2c) also includes: a third coolant-air heat exchanger (14) operated as a condenser/gas cooler and heating inflow air for the passenger compartment; and a third expansion engine (15) arranged with the compressor (3) and the first coolant-air heat exchanger (4). The third expansion engine (15) is arranged in rear of the third coolant-air heat exchanger (14) from the point of view in the flow direction of the coolant.
