Summary:Provided are a method for processing a biometric image and an apparatus including the same. The method for processing a biometric image comprises the steps of: obtaining a biometric image from a biometric sensor; evaluating the quality of the biometric image based on a plurality of evaluation items; using an improvement table for image quality which includes an improvement degree of image quality, and determining at least one of an improvement algorithm corresponding to a result of the evaluation and a weighted value of the improvement algorithm; and correcting the biometric image based on the determined improvement algorithm of the determined weighted value. 생체 이미지 처리 방법 및 그 장치를 제공한다. 본 생체 이미지 처리 방법은 생체 센서로부터 생체 이미지를 획득하고, 생체 이미지의 화질을 복수 개의 평가 항목으로 평가하고, 화질의 개선도가 포함된 화질 개선 테이블을 이용하여 평가 결과에 대응하는 개선 알고리즘 및 상기 개선 알고리즘의 가중치 중 적어도 하나를 결정하며, 결정된 가중치의 결정된 개선 알고리즘으로 생체 이미지를 보정한다.
