Abstract | The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a vehicle test, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for controlling a vehicle test, capable of determining a state of a vehicle based on information detected by a wheel speed sensor during the vehicle test. To this end, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for controlling the vehicle test includes: a plurality of wheel speed sensors for detecting speeds of front and rear wheels; and a controller for identifying a driving wheel and a non-driving wheel among the front and rear wheels, receiving wheel speed information from the wheel speed sensors, generating a first average value by using the wheel speed information according to the driving wheel, generating a second average value by using the wheel speed information according to the non-driving wheel, obtaining a calculation value by using the wheel speed information according to the driving wheel and the wheel speed information according to the non-driving wheel, determining whether a dynamo condition is satisfied by using the first average value, the second average value, and the calculation value, and determining as a chassis dynamo state when the dynamo condition is satisfied.
