Abstract | Disclosed is a method for detecting harmful gas in a vehicle, comprising the following steps: detecting harmful gas using a first sensor installed at a position higher than a respiration position of a user aboard the vehicle; detecting the harmful gas using a second sensor installed at a position lower than the respiration position of the user aboard the vehicle; determining a harmful gas pollution degree in the vehicle based on the harmful gas detected by the first sensor and the harmful gas detected by the second sensor; and providing specific information to at least one of the user aboard the vehicle and an external device of the vehicle according to the determined harmful gas pollution degree.
