Abstract The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a battery cell by having an electrode assembly mounted in a receiving part formed on a laminate sheet, which comprises the steps of: (a) fixing a laminate sheet in place to a fixing die; (b) marking at least two reference points with a marking assembly between a to-be-molded portion of a receiving part of the sheet and an outer circumstance of the sheet on a plane; (c) pressing the to-be-molded portion of the sheet with a punch to form the receiving part by deep drawing; (d) cutting the outer circumference of the sheet at a position passing through at least a part of the reference points; and (e) sealing an outer circumferential surface of the sheet after mounting an electrode assembly, to which an electrode lead is connected, and an electrolyte together on the receiving portion. The to-be-molded portion of the receiving part is formed in a rectangular shape.
