Abstract An electrical connection system (10) has a male terminal (20) and a female terminal (222) configured to receive the male terminal (20). The female terminal (222) has an elastic contact part (228) forming a ridge part (224) vertically extending from an upper surface (226) of the elastic contact part (228) and extends in the longitudinal direction along the elastic contact part (228). The ridge part (224) is configured to provide a contact point between the female terminal (222) and the male terminal (20).
