Abstract An imaging optical system of the present invention includes: a first lens having positive refractive power; a second lens having negative refractive power; a third lens having positive refractive power; a fourth lens having positive refractive power; a fifth lens having negative refractive power; and a sixth lens having positive refractive power, wherein F No. is 2.0 or less and satisfies the following conditional expression. The conditional expression satisfies OAL / (Img HT) < 1.50, wherein OAL is the distance from an object side surface of the first lens to an upper surface, and Img HT is 1/2 of the diagonal length of the upper surface. 본 발명의 촬상 광학계는 정의 굴절력을 갖는 제1렌즈; 부의 굴절력을 갖는 제2렌즈; 정의 굴절력을 갖는 제3렌즈; 정의 굴절력을 갖는 제4렌즈; 부의 굴절력을 갖는 제5렌즈; 및 정의 굴절력을 갖는 제6렌즈;를 포함하고, F No.가 2.0 이하이고, 하기 조건식을 만족한다.
