Summary:A cutting operation is performed using an apparatus having a long sleeve with a port in a distal section. The sleeve is connected to a vacuum source, and a rotating shaft is disposed within the lumen of the sleeve. The shaft has a cutting blade at distal end thereof opposite to the port. The blade has two cutting edges, a gear assembly which operates to rotate a shaft by alternating the shaft in the first direction and the second direction around the symmetry axis of the shaft, and a motor for supplying power to the gear assembly. 원위 섹션 내에 포트를 갖춘 긴 슬리브를 구비하는 장치를 이용하여 커팅 작업이 수행된다. 슬리브는 진공원에 연결되고, 회전 샤프트가 슬리브의 루멘 내에 배치된다. 샤프트는 그것의 원위 단부에서 포트 반대편에 커팅 블레이드를 구비한다. 블레이드는 2개의 커팅 에지, 샤프트를 샤프트의 대칭축을 중심으로 제1 방향 및 제2 방향으로 교번하여 회전시키도록 작동하는 기어 조립체, 및 기어 조립체에 동력을 공급하기 위한 모터를 구비한다.
