Abstract | The present invention provides a locking/unlocking system which promotes user convenience when a plurality of users use the same car and facility at different times, and prevents car theft or unauthorized entry into the facility. The locking/unlocking system (1) comprises: a mobile terminal (20); a key unit (12); and a locking/unlocking device (11) of the car or the facility. The mobile terminal (20) comprises a first transmitting unit transmitting first authentication information to the key unit (12). The key unit (12) comprises: a first memory unit; a first authentication unit performing authentication based on the first authentication information; a decoding unit decoding second authentication information when the authentication is carried out successfully by the first authentication unit; and a second transmitting unit transmitting the second authentication information to the locking/unlocking device (11). The locking/unlocking device (11) comprises: a second authentication unit performing authentication based on the second authentication information; and a locking/unlocking unit performing locking or unlocking on the car (10) or the facility when the authentication is carried out successfully by the second authentication unit.
