Abstract An electro-mechanical gyro-balanced unicycle includes: a wheel provided with a first motor therein; a housing provided outside the wheel; and hollow pedals, respectively, provided at both sides of the housing. The pedal is provided with an electro-mechanical gyro assembly therein, and the electro-mechanical gyro assembly includes a second motor and a rotor capable of being driven by the second motor to rotate at a high speed so as to produce torques in a horizontal plane. Accordingly, the present invention has a simple structure, can enable a beginner to be capable of quickly getting on a unicycle without any external assistant force, and can still well realize self-balance in left and right directions over long time of use. 본 발명은 제1 모터가 내장된 휠과, 상기 휠의 외측에 설치된 하우징과, 상기 하우징의 양측에 각각 설치된 속이 빈 발판을 포함하되, 상기 발판 내부에는 전기기계식 자이로스코프 조립품이 설치되고, 상기 전기기계식 자이로스코프 조립품은 제2 모터와 상기 제2 모터의 구동하에 고속회전하여 수평면 내에서 토크를 발생시키는 회전자를 포함하는 전기기계식 자이로스코프 평형 외발휠을 제공한다. 본 발명은 구조가 간단하고, 초보자로 하여금 아무런 부가 보조력이 없이도 빠른 속도로 승차할 수 있도록 하며 사용 시간이 길어짐에 따라 좌우 방향에서 양호한 자체 평형을 실현할 수 있도록 한다.
