Abstract | A display device includes a display member for displaying an image and a light source for providing light to the display member. The display member includes a base substrate which has a front surface, a back surface, and a plurality of side surfaces connecting the front surface and the back surface, receives light through at least one of the side surfaces, and has a first refractive index, a low refractive index layer which has a low second refractive index, and an array layer which is disposed on the low refraction layer and includes at least one thin film transistor. It is possible to provide a slim display device.
