An droplet inspection apparatus (1) includes a radiation unit (10) which radiates ultraviolet rays to a radiation region (22) on an inspection sheet (20) including the droplet (21), an image pickup unit (11) for picking up the radiation region (22) where the droplet (21) (or the inspection sheet (20)) is emitted, an ultraviolet shielding filter (12) which is installed in an optical axis of the image pickup unit (11) and shields the ultraviolet rays (31) reflected from the inspection sheet (20), and a measuring unit (13a) which measures the position of the droplet (21) on the inspection sheet (20) and the size of the droplet (21) based on the image picked up by the image pickup unit (11). 본 발명은 피토출체에 토출되는 액적을 적절히 검사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 액적 검사 장치(1)는, 액적(21)을 포함하는 검사 시트(20) 상의 조사(照射) 영역(22)에 자외선을 조사하는 조사부(10)와, 액적(21)[또는 검사 시트(20)]이 발광한 조사 영역(22)을 촬상하는 촬상부(11)와, 촬상부(11)의 광축 상에 설치되고, 검사 시트(20)에서 반사된 자외선(31)을 차단하는 자외선 차단 필터(12)와, 촬상부(11)에 의해 촬상된 촬상 화상에 기초하여, 액적(21)의 크기 및 검사 시트(20) 상의 액적(21)의 위치를 계측하는 계측부(13a)를 갖는다.
