Abstract | According to the present invention, a tensile strength testing apparatus comprises: a stress measurement unit including a stress measurement grip unit including a first sample end grip unit to fixate and grip a first end of a sample and a second sample end grip unit to grip a second end of the sample providing stress to the second end, and measuring tension of the sample in a first operation mode and distortion of the sample in a second operation mode; and an elongation measurement unit including an elongation measurement grip unit including a first sample intermediate end grip unit to fixate and grip a first intermediate end of the sample and a second sample intermediate end grip unit to move and grip the first intermediate end of the sample in accordance with the provided stress, and a rotary shaft balanced in an arrangement direction of the first and second sample end grip units and rotating the elongation measurement grip unit when the tension is measured to measure the elongation of the sample. As such, the tensile strength testing apparatus is capable of easily calculating tension, elongation, and bending stress of a sample through the stress measurement unit and the elongation measurement unit.
