Abstract The present invention relates to a lubricant additive concentrate comprising about 30 to about 90% by mass of lubricant viscosity oil and about 20 to about 70% by mass of an additive, wherein about 30 to about 90% by mass of the additive comprises: (i) a hybrid overbased colloidal cleaner derived from a sulfonate surfactant and a hydroxybenzoate surfactant; and (ii) a poly alkenyl succinimide dispersant derived from a polyalkene having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from about 1,300 to about 2,500 Daltons.
