Abstract | The present invention relates to a lubricant additive concentrate comprising about 30 to about 90% by mass of lubricant viscosity oil and about 20 to about 70% by mass of an additive, wherein about 30 to about 90% by mass of the additive comprises: (i) a hybrid overbased colloidal cleaner derived from a sulfonate surfactant and a hydroxybenzoate surfactant; and (ii) a poly alkenyl succinimide dispersant derived from a polyalkene having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from about 1,300 to about 2,500 Daltons. The mass ratio of (i) the hybrid overbased colloidal cleaner to (ii) the poly alkenyl succinimide dispersant is about 25:1 to about 1:1.
