The present invention relates to a method for degrading low-grade coal by using Pseudomonas putida, and a method for producing an energy source by using the same. The method for degrading low-grade coal by using Pseudomonas putida comprises the step of growing Pseudomonas putida in a culture medium including coal and thus converting the coal into a dissolved and degraded product. The method for producing an energy source by using the method comprises the steps of: growing Pseudomonas putida in a culture medium including coal and thus converting the coal into a dissolved and degraded product; and acquiring the dissolved and degraded product as an energy source. The method for degrading low-grade coal by using Pseudomonas putida according to the present invention can perform a coal degradation process in a milder condition than a chemical treatment method, can safely acquire industrially useful materials, such as alcohol, ammonia, hydrogen, methane, etc., through degradation reaction by using low-grade coal as a raw material, and can reduce the emission of harmful gases, such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and sulfoxide. 본 발명은 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 이용한 저품위 석탄의 분해방법, 및 이를 이용한 에너지원의 생산방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 석탄이 포함된 배지에서 배양하여 석탄을 용해 및 분해된 산물로 전환시키는 단계를 포함하는, 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 이용한 석탄의 분해방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 또한, 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 석탄이 포함된 배지에서 배양하여 석탄을 용해 및 분해된 산물로 전환시키는 단계; 및 상기 전환된 산물을 에너지원으로 수득하는 단계를 포함하는, 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 이용한 석탄의 분해를 통한 에너지원의 생산방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 슈도모나스 푸티다()를 이용한 석탄의 분해방법은 화학적 처리 방법보다 온화한 조건에서 석탄 분해 공정을 수행할 수 있으며, 저품위 석탄을 원료로 사용하여 알코올, 암모니아, 수소, 메탄 등과 같은 산업적으로 유용한 물질을 안전하게 분해반응을 통해 수득할 수 있고, 이산화탄소와 아산화질소, 술폭시화물 같은 해로운 가스의 방출을 줄일 수 있다.
