Abstract Provided is a liquid crystal display device having a pixel electrode structure for improving transmittance. The liquid crystal display device includes: first and second substrates facing each other and including a plurality of pixels; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first and second substrates; and a pixel electrode disposed in each pixel on the first substrate.
