Abstract | A protection switching management apparatus and method for using resources economically in a multilayer or multiple domains are disclosed. The protection switching management method includes a step of receiving an adaptation request from a network element included in an upper layer; a step of determining whether the protection switching of a corresponding layer is applied based on the received adaptation request; and a step of setting a protection path in the corresponding layer based on whether the determined protection switching is applied.
다계층 또는 다중 도메인에서 효율적 자원 활용을 위한 보호절체 관리 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 보호절체 관리 방법은 상위 계층에 포함된 네트워크 구성요소로부터 적응요청을 수신하는 단계; 상기 수신된 적응요청에 기초하여 해당 계층의 보호절체 적용 여부를 판단하는 단계; 상기 판단된 보호절체 적용 여부에 기초하여 상기 해당 계층에 보호 경로를 설정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. |
