Abstract | A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate which includes a display region including a plurality of pixel regions and a non-display region around the display region, a pixel electrode arranged in each pixel region, and a liquid crystal control electrode arranged in the non-display region; a second substrate which includes a common electrode arranged on a plane facing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer which is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent a light leakage in the non-display region.
