Abstract According to an embodiment of the present invention, a rechargeable battery comprises an electrode assembly in which a first electrode and a second electrode are placed between a separator and which are wound; a case receiving the electrode assembly, having conductivity and electrically connected with the second electrode; and a center pin which is electrically connected with the first electrode and has an electrode terminal protruding to the outside of the case. Accordingly, the present invention provides a rechargeable battery of an ultra small diameter rechargeable battery which is easy to connect wires of each electrode of the rechargeable battery. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 제1 전극 및 제2 전극이 세퍼레이터를 사이에 두고 배치되어 권취된 전극조립체, 상기 전극조립체를 수용하고 도전성을 가지며 상기 제2 전극과 전기적으로 연결된 케이스 및 상기 제1 전극에 전기적으로 연결되고 상기 케이스의 외부로 돌출되는 전극 단자를 구비한 센터핀을 포함할 수 있다.
