Abstract | The present invention is to provide a display device and a touch sensor device to reduce the time required to detect a touch position. The display device comprises: a display panel which displays an image; a first touch panel which is disposed on the display panel and includes a plurality of driving electrodes disposed to extend in a first direction, and a plurality of sensing electrodes disposed to extend in a second direction; and a second touch panel which is disposed on the first touch panel and detects a touch point position area, wherein the first touch panel applies a touch detection signal only to a driving electrode overlapped with the touch point position area.
