The objective of the present invention is to provide an electronic cigarette with a voice output function capable of enhancing user convenience by acoustically providing information relating to the electronic cigarette. According to the present invention, an electronic cigarette having a switch, a battery and an atomizer performing atomization by power of the battery comprises: a voice input unit (11) for inputting data of a voice; a memory unit (12) for storing the data of the voice input by the voice input unit (11); a switching detection unit (13) for detecting switching of a switch to start operation of the atomizer of the electronic cigarette; a power detection unit (14) for detecting power of the battery for supplying the power to the operation of the atomizer of the electronic cigarette; a voice output unit (15) for outputting the voice stored in the memory unit (12); and a controller (16) controlling the voice input unit (11), the memory unit (12), the switching detection unit (13), the power detection unit (14) and the voice output unit (15). 본 발명에 의하면, 스위치, 배터리 및 배터리의 전원에 의한 무화를 하는 무화기를 구비한 전자담배에 있어서, 음성의 데이터를 입력하기 위한 음성 입력부(11), 음성 입력부(11)에 의하여 입력된 음성의 데이터를 저장하기 위한 메모리부(12), 전자담배의 무화기의 동작을 구동하기 위한 스위치의 스위칭을 감지하기 위한 스위칭 감지부(13), 전자담배의 무화기의 동작에 전원을 공급하기 위한 배터리의 전원을 감지하기 위한 전원 감지부(14), 메모리부(12)에 저장된 음성을 출력하기 위한 음성 출력부(15) 및 이들을 제어하기 위한 제어부(16)로 이루어지는 음성출력 기능을 가진 전자담배가 제공된다.
