Abstract The present invention relates to an emergency brake for a wind power generator, to prevent a big accident, in a situation where a system is cut off during operation of the generator, and a brake system and the wind power generator using the same. For the same, provided is the emergency brake for the wind power generator, which includes a coil where a shaft providing torque to a rotor of the wind power generator penetrates a center thereof, and brakes rotation of the shaft by electromagnetic force generated in the coil if electricity is supplied from an emergency battery in case the system of the wind power generator is cut off. According to the same, even though a similar situation like system shut-down occurs during operation of the wind power generator, it is possible to operate the wind power generator stably. 본 발명은 발전기가 가동중에 계통이 끊어지는 상황에서, 대형 사고를 방지하기 위한 풍력발전기의 비상용 브레이크, 이를 이용한 브레이크 시스템 및 풍력발전기에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 풍력발전기의 로터에 토크를 제공하는 샤프트가 중심에 관통되도록 구성되는 코일;을 포함하고, 풍력발전기의 계통 차단시 비상용 배터리에서 전원을 공급받으면 코일에서 발생되는 전자기적 힘으로 샤프트의 회전을 제동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 풍력발전기의 비상용 브레이크가 제공될 수 있다. 이에 따르면 발전기가 가동 중에 계통 차단 등의 유사 상황이 발생되어도, 풍력발전기의 안정적인 운영이 가능해지는 효과가 있다.
