The objective of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device which comprises a reinforcement bead part in an edge region of a cover bottom, reduces the thickness of the liquid crystal display device, and can secure a wide component combination space. The liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes: a liquid crystal display panel which has a lower substrate and an upper substrate which are bonded to each other by interposing a liquid crystal layer therebetween; a backlight unit which emits light to the liquid crystal display panel; and a cover bottom which accommodates the backlight unit. The cover bottom comprises the reinforcement bead part protruding toward the backlight unit, along edge regions of the cover bottom. 본 발명은 커버 보텀의 테두리 영역에 보강 비드부를 구비하여, 액정 표시 장치의 두께를 줄이고, 넓은 부품 체결 공간을 확보할 수 있는 액정 표시 장치를 제공하는 것을 기술적 과제로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치는, 액정층을 사이에 두고 대향 합착된 하부 기판과 상부 기판을 갖는 액정 표시 패널, 상기 액정 표시 패널에 광을 조사하는 백라이트 유닛, 및 상기 백라이트 유닛을 수납하는 커버 보텀을 포함하고, 상기 커버 보텀에는, 상기 커버 보텀의 테두리 영역들을 따라, 상기 백라이트 유닛 방향으로 돌출된 보강 비드부가 구비된다.
