Summary:The present invention provides an ultraviolet lamp which suppresses non-uniformity of an illuminance distribution in a circumferential direction in a longitudinal direction-cross section. According to an embodiment, there is provided an ultraviolet lamp, comprising: a light emission tube (10) which includes an internal tube (11) having an inner diameter ranging from 13 to 17 mm and both ends encapsulated such that a discharge space (12) is installed in the internal tube (11), a pair of electrodes (16a and 16b) installed in both ends of the discharge space (12), amalgam (13) including mercury contained in the discharge space (12) in a sealed manner, and flare portions (15a, 15a, 15b and 15b) formed to extend from the both ends, and which emits first ultraviolet light; and an external tube (21) which is installed with the light emission tube (10) and the space (30) disposed therein, is connected to the flare portions (15a, 15a, 15b and 15b), radiates first ultraviolet light, and has a fluorescent substance layer (20) emitting second ultraviolet light having a wavelength longer than that of the first ultraviolet light, wherein lamp input density per unit length ranges from 0.5 to 4W/cm. 본 발명은 길이방향 단면에서의 둘레방향의 조도분포의 불균일을 억제한 자외선 램프를 제공한다. 실시형태에 따르면, 내직경이 13~17㎜이고 내부에 방전공간(12)이 설치되도록 양단이 봉지된 내부관(11)과, 방전공간(12)의 양단에 설치된 한쌍의 전극(16a, 16b)과, 방전공간(12)에 봉입된 수은을 포함하는 아말감(13)과, 양단으로부터 연장되어 형성된 플레어부(15a, 15a, 15b, 15b)를 갖고, 제1 자외광을 방사하는 발광관(10)과; 발광관(10)과 공간(30)을 개재하여 설치되고, 플레어부(15a, 15a, 15b, 15b)와 접속되며, 제1 자외광이 조사되고 제1 자외광보다 파장이 긴 제2 자외광을 방출하는 형광체층(20)을 갖는 외부관(21);을 구비하고, 단위길이당 램프입력밀도가 0.5~4W/㎝이다.
