Abstract Provided are an application to measure a distance and a mobile device mounting the same. The present invention provides an application to measure the distance capable of not only having excellent portability and excellent cost efficiency by mounting software such as an application program without installing an additional sensor module in an existing mobile device but to also obtain accuracy of measuring a distance, and a mobile device mounting the same. The application to measure the distance is stored in a medium to perform a step of detecting a measurement mark adjacent to an object to be measured from an inputted image by connecting to the mobile device; a step of calculating an occupied pixel area calculating a pixel area which the detected measurement mark occupies; and a step of calculating a distance between the measurement mark and the mobile device based on a ratio of a preset reference pixel area and the occupied pixel area, wherein the preset reference pixel area is a pixel area occupied when the measurement mark is arranged at predetermined intervals. 거리측정용 애플리케이션 및 이를 탑재한 모바일 디바이스가 제공된다. 거리측정용 애플리케이션은 모바일 디바이스와 결합되어, 입력된 화상으로부터 측정 대상물에 인접한 측정용 표지를 검지하는 단계와, 상기 검지된 측정용 표지가 차지하는 화소면적을 산출하는 점유 화소면적을 산출하는 단계 및 상기 측정용 표지가 소정 거리로 이격된 경우에 차지하는 화소면적으로서 기 설정된 기준 화소면적과 상기 점유 화소면적의 비율에 근거하여, 상기 측정용 표지와 상기 모바일 디바이스 간의 거리를 산출하는 단계를 실행시키기 위하여 매체에 저장된다.
