Abstract | The present invention relates to a new scolopendrasin-5 peptide isolated from Scolopendra subspinipes and a composition of the same. In the present invention, provided is a peptide which is synthesized from amino acid deducted from a gene of a peptide isolated from Scolopendra subspinipes, and is expressed by SEQ ID NO: 1. According to the present invention, provided are a new scolopendrasin-5 peptide isolated from Scolopendra subspinipes and a composition of the same which can provide antibiotics, food preservatives, cosmetic preservatives, medicines, etc., which are safe to the human body while expressing antifungal activity without cytotoxicity.
