The present invention relates to a pulling eye for an optical connector to insert an optical cable combined with the optical cable into a buried pipe, and an assembling method thereof. The present invention provides a pulling eye for an optical connector having strong tensile strength to endure the strong tensile strength generated in a process of inserting an optical cable and to simplify a manufacturing structure with a simple structure, and an assembling method thereof. The present invention includes a fixing part and a traction ring. The fixing part includes a hollow part and fixed to an optical connector or an optical cable by covering the optical connector or the optical cable while the optical connector combined with the optical cable on one side is inserted and extended.
