Summary:The present invention relates to an ecological environment classifying method to restore habitats for benthic invertebrate animals. The present invention classifies target benthic invertebrate animals by habit and feeding feature criteria, spawning and ecological feature criteria, and water-quality feature criteria. The present invention is characterized by classifying the habitat and feeding features by the criteria of geographical features, areas, types, climates of habitats, bed particles, behavior patterns, feeding types, feeding habits, and food sources; classifying the spawning and ecological features by criteria of a spawning period, climates for spawning, breathing mechanism, and nutritional conditions; and classifying the water-quality features by criteria of frequency occurrence per water quality grate and an environmental quality point. The present invention is capable of accurately and rapidly restoring damaged ecological environment if an ecological environment of a river or a stream is damaged due to a development of a river (or a stream) or downpours and the like. In addition, the present invention is capable of simply and accurately grasping the ecological features of the benthic invertebrate animals inhabiting a river or a stream of the entire country.
