Abstract | The present invention relates to a pot, and a method to manufacture the pot. The pot comprises a pot body having a storage space with an opened upper part and a liner layer formed on an inner side surface of the pot body. The liner layer is formed of a material comprising: 45-55 wt% of silica dioxide (SiO_2); 8-15 wt% of iron oxide (Fe_2O_3); 7-12 wt% of aluminum oxide (Al_2O_3); 8-15 wt% of calcium oxide (CaO); and 8-15 wt% of magnesium oxide (MgO). The material comprises at least one among natural basalt, cast basalt, and steel slag containing the components of the basalt. The pot is manufactured by a step of preparing the pot body, a step of preparing the material, and a step of forming the liner layer on the inner surface of the pot body; thereby facilitating the removal of a base metal attached to the pot.
