Summary:The present invention provides a method for manufacturing marine fuel starting from a hydrocarbon-containing cut originating from catalytic cracking of an HCO or slurry type. The method for manufacturing marine fuel according to the present invention comprises: a hydrotreatment step (a) of providing hydrotreated effluent; a step (b) of separating the hydrotreated effluent derived from step (a) so as to obtain a gaseous fraction and a liquid hydrocarbon-containing fraction; and an optional step (c) of mixing the liquid hydrocarbon-containing fraction with a paraffin-rich hydrocarbon-containing cut from the perspective of obtaining necessary marine fuel.
