The present invention relates to a motor-driven compressor comprising: a compression unit for compressing refrigerant; an electric motor for operating the compression unit; and a housing which accommodates the compression unit and the electric motor therein. The housing has a connection member. A motor-driven circuit operates the electric motor. The motor-driven circuit includes a condenser which is electrically connected to the circuit board. The condenser includes a side facing the connection member and an end plane. A resin material is located between the connection member and the condenser. The connection member has a facing surface which faces the condenser. The facing surface has a recess which extends to become gradually away from the condenser. The recess accommodates a part of the resin material therein.
