Abstract In the present invention, provided are an economically friendly water-soluble resin for a back cover of a flat panel display, and a back cover of a flat panel display using the same; and the economically friendly water-soluble resin for a back cover of a flat panel display comprising: 1-40 wt% of water-dispersible polyurethane resin, 20-60 wt% of modified acrylic resin, 1-20 wt% of black pigment, 0.5-10 wt% of rust-resistant additives, 0.5-6 wt% of acrylic beads, and the remaining water.
