Summary:Disclosed is a damper apparatus which can minimize the occurrence of vortex currents due to the air flowing in a duct or reduce the likelihood of explosions due to oil vapors. The damper apparatus includes a driving gear which rotates by the rotation of a motor; a driven gear which is coupled to the driving gear; a pair for rotating shafts which has the respective ends coupled to the driving gear and the driven gear; and a pair of door plates which has a side coupled to the respective rotating shafts and the other end linked by a predetermined gap to correspond to the section of the duct. The door plate pair is separated on the horizontal middle part of the duct section.
