Abstract The present invention provides a method and apparatus for correcting the distortion of an optical lens of a DHP system. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a distortion image; generating a distortion function of the lens from the obtained distortion image; generating an inverse function of the distortion function of the lens from the distortion function of the lens; and correcting the distortion of the lens by using the inverse function of the distortion function of the lens. The present invention forms the DHP system capable of recording a holographic image with reality by reducing a distortion phenomenon due to the optical lens.
