Abstract Provided are a dynamic ultrasonic sensor and a sensing method, capable of sensing objects which are located at a various distance, with one sensor. The dynamic ultrasonic sensor comprises a transmitter, a receiver, and a controller for controlling the transmitter and the receiver, wherein the transmitter transmits a first ultrasonic wave during a first driving time. If the receiver does not receive a first reflected wave corresponding to the first ultrasonic wave, the first ultrasonic wave and the second ultrasonic wave transmit the second ultrasonic wave having the same frequency and the same amplification degree, during the first driving time and a second driving time.
