A water purifier according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a storage unit in which water is stored; a sterilization unit receiving the water stored in the storage unit to sterilize; a first tube for supplying the water sterilized in the sterilization unit to the storage unit; a second tube for supplying the water stored in the storage unit to the sterilization unit; a pump providing a pumping force to make the water flow from the storage unit to the sterilization unit; and a control unit controlling the pump. Here, the pump may vary in driving speed within a time range in which the sterilization unit is turned on. Also, a water purifier according to another aspect of the present invention includes: a storage unit in which water is stored; a sterilization unit receiving the water stored in the storage unit to sterilize; a first tube for supplying the water sterilized in the sterilization unit to the storage unit; a second tube for supplying the water stored in the storage unit to the sterilization unit; a pump providing a pumping force to make the water flow from the storage unit to the sterilization unit; and a control unit controlling the pump. Here, the pump may be repeatedly turned on/off within a time range in which the sterilization unit is turned on. The time in which the pump is turned on may be changed.
