A method for approving card payment for purchase of applications according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) allowing a relay server to receive a request for payment from a user terminal; (b) allowing the relay server to receive, from the user terminal, the identification information of a user, a card encryption key corresponding to a card pre-registered by the user, and payment information related to the payment; (c) allowing the relay server to detect the identification information of the card among pre-stored card identification information, based on the identification information of the user, and identifying a card company server corresponding to the detected card identification information; (d) allowing the relay server to transmit, to the identified card company server, the card identification information, the card encryption key, and the payment information; and (e) allowing the relay server to receive approval information for the payment from the card company server.
