The embodiment of the present invention provides a flexible display device which maximizes immersion feeling when a user watches a display device by adjusting a curvature which is a degree in which the flexible display device is bent according to the position of the user after the recognition of the position of the user. The flexible display device which adjusts the curvature according to the position of a user by the embodiment of the present invention comprises; a flexible display panel; a position sensing unit which includes one or more position sensors and senses a distance between the flexible display panel and a user, and the position of the user; a change amount measuring unit which measures a change amount of the distance as a position change amount of the user and right and left and top and bottom movement amounts of the user; a storage unit which stores a look-up table made of standard information for adjusting the curvature of the flexible display panel in response to the position and distance change amount of the user; and a curvature adjusting unit which obtains distance information between the user and the flexible display panel if the position change amount of the user obtained through the position sensing unit and the change amount measuring unit exceeds a threshold. The curvature adjusting unit adjusts the curvature of the flexible display panel using data of the look-up table included in the storage unit.
