Summary:The present invention relates to a method for predicting BTX yield in a cokes process which comprises the following steps: a step for selecting an influence factor which has high correlation with the yield of BTX produced from gas generated from a carbonization step of coal; a step for generating the correlation between the selected influence factor and the BTX yield; and a step for predicting the BTX yield from the generated correlation. The present invention enables users to accurately predict the BTX yield in a coal cokes process with the uniform coal carbonization temperature. [Reference numerals] (AA) BTX yield(actual, Kg/t-coal); (BB) BTX yield(Kg/t-coal) = 6.27 + 0.259 VM - 1.58 viscosity R2 = 0.889; (CC) BTX yield(predicted, Kg/t-coal)
