Abstract | The present invention relates to a functional beverage comprising a coenzyme Q10 starch complex and a preparing method thereof. The functional beverage comprising a coenzyme Q10 starch complex according to the present invention neither contains additional additives for dissolving insoluble coenzyme Q10, nor requires separate materials or high-cost apparatuses in the process. In addition, the preparing method of the functional beverage is very simple, and thus can be useful in the preparation of beverages containing a coenzyme Q10 starch complex at low costs. Further, the functional beverage prepared by the method according to the present invention increases hydrophilic property of coenzyme Q10, thereby improving the bio-absorption rate and drinkability. Further, since coenzyme Q10 itself, which has antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-aging effects, is supplied to the human body, the functional beverage is useful in preventing aging-related diseases and cardiovascular diseases by using antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-aging effects.
