Abstract | PURPOSE: A portable image zooming device with an auto-focusing function is provided to offer stable focus without the separate operation of a user interface and to facilitate the operation of a portable image zooming device by determining a close up shot mode according to a distance and automatically controlling an LED light. CONSTITUTION: A lens unit (110) controls the focus for taking a photograph of a subject. A COMS sensor unit (115) converts the image obtained through the lens unit into video data. A distance sensor unit (120) measures a distance between the object and the lens unit. An output unit (130) receives and outputs the video data. A computation module (170) controls the focus adjustment of the lens unit through the measured distance.
