PURPOSE: A resolver trouble diagnosis system of a drive motor is provided to sense a failure status of a signal line due to a disconnection or a short, in a fast time without limitation of speed. CONSTITUTION: A resolver trouble diagnosis system(1) includes a R/D(Resolver to Digital) converter(10), an input processor(20), a signal processor(30), a trouble sensing signal generator(40), and a break judging unit(50). The R/D converter converts and outputs a signal inputted from the resolver. An input processor converts sin/cos signal inputted from the R/D converter, respectively, into a digital signal, removes a predetermined offset and outputs it. The signal processor takes an absolute value to the signal inputted form the input processor, respectively, applies a low pass filter, removes an exciting signal and outputs it. The trouble sensing signal generator applies a square root to a total sum of square of signal inputted from the signal processor, respectively, and calculates the trouble sensing signal. The break judging unit recognizes a break of the resolver signal line based on the value of the trouble sensing signal.
