Abstract PURPOSE: A transmission device for operating a high-frequency antenna of a magnetic resonance device, a power amplifier unit, and a method for generating an amplitude modulation target signal are provided to implement the transmission device of the magnetic resonance device without additional filters. CONSTITUTION: A combining device(15) combines output signals of amplifier modules(5) with a target signal. A signal-conditioning device generates N of operating signals including a predetermined pulse frequency composed of pulses(2). The pulses of the operating signals are offset to each other as much as 1/N of a pulse period corresponding to the pulse frequency in each case of time. Each operating signal is supplied to the amplifier modules.
