Abstract PURPOSE: A test device of a battery pack and a driving method thereof are provided to grasp the status of the battery under similar environment to the practical environment. CONSTITUTION: A test device(100) of a battery pack comprises: a main control part(110) which manufactures drive control signal, first measuring signal, and second measuring signal according to test conditions input from an external device; a drive circuit part(120) which charges and discharges the battery pack(10) according to the test condition by receiving the drive control signals; and a sub-measuring part(130) which measures the state of battery cells(11) by receiving the second measuring control signals and producing secondary measuring unit data about the status of the battery cells.
